The Four Fold Practice
Dialogue walk
We explored the Four Fold practice, particularly Hosting Self and Being Hosted, in a dialogue walk, with the question:
What brings you to this place?
Reflections: Conversation was the best bit; Silence; To listen and learn more; The question held what I spoke; A moment of magic; Space impacts on the story; It would be good to have that time; A challenge not to interrupt

Complementary worldviews and Complexity
Jane introduced some assumptions and world views - introducing 'the groan zone' and a framework for looking at problems with the Cynefin Framework
Powerful questions
Appreciative Inquiry
Learning about Appreciative Inquiry as a framework, and practicing with triads (not the Chinese ones!) or trios:
Share a story of a time when you stepped in with courage

Moments in this time and place
Compassionate communication after dinner
We were fortunate to have Cate Crombie, an experienced Non Violent Communication practitioner, trainer and assessor visit Coochie for the evening. Cate gave an introductory session into NVC, the world of giraffes and jackals (or dingos).
She was joined by good friend and fellow NVC practitioner and trainer, Carolyn Davies, visiting from the UK - and celebrating a significant birthday on Coochie!
Any action is driven by a need we are trying to fulfil ... and feelings are clues to our needs
