Day 3
Check in
Day 3 themes are hosting others and hosting together (or becoming a community that learns). Josey stepped up to host check in, with the question:
How does being part of a community that learns together serve you?
Stewart and his and Tamara's sons joined us for an acknowledgement of country.

Designing for wiser action
Some of the projects were
- A community conversation around inclusiveness in Warwick
- Training for child protection workers in WA, to support families to develop networks
- Mentoring and helping young people to become healthy adults in India
- Sibling support program in my disability organisation, Gympie
- My PhD proposal: How to harvest the collective wisdom of Australia's coast?
What I'm grateful for
- Different and new perspectives
- Awareness of need to make it really inclusive, not just for people with disabilities
- Opportunity to discuss and the great insights
- Help connecting vision with purpose
- Art of Hosting practices I can use
- Collective wisdom
- Encouragement, time and attentiveness
- Peer coaching - I'd lost sight of the heart, they brought clarity and brought me back
My next wise steps

Here is a link to the audio recording of the meta harvest, created by all of us, and written and delivered by Jane. You will get better sound using headphones

Graphic harvest
A large team of harvesters co-created this beautiful landscape - a graphic memory of our time together. Stewart said it reminded him of his home around the Roper River in NT, and the communities that surrounded it - discrete communities and all connected.
Thank you to everyone who made their mark, by making sense of what we learned or expressing their creativity visually! It will have its home on Coochie :)

Check out and closing circle
The closing circle was incredibly powerful, full of authenticity, and voices into the centre. We wanted to honour it by harvesting the sense of everyone's voice. It's a long one, and worth it...
